Energize Denver Compliance Services
What is Energize Denver?
Energize Denver is the City and County of Denver’s performance-based ordinance requiring large buildings to reduce their energy use over time in support of the city’s goal to reach Net Zero Energy by 2040. The ordinance mandates annual benchmarking, progressive performance targets, and electrification planning for certain buildings — with enforcement and penalties for noncompliance.

Energize Denver applies to commercial and multifamily buildings 25,000 square feet or larger. Compliance pathways depend on your building type and existing energy performance.
